How did you start on your spiritual path?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 15, 2008:
Like many writers here, I was born to it. In childhood I was spiritual and talked
to a higher self. I could sense other dimensions but resisted them strongly and tried
to ground my thoughts. We did not go to Church and traveled around with the military a lot. In my adult life, it seems so normal to be spiritual and seek out the art, literature, and fellow like minded people. I went to the Episcopal Church for 10 years but have given it up; its not necessary. I still work on being grounded and live in this world in the now because I know that is what I am supposed to do.
